Conference Results from Weeks 2 & 3

In conference results, congratulations to Jacksonville University sailor Charlotte Rose on her win at SAISA Women’s Singlehanded, as well as to College of Charleston sailors Kelly-Ann Arrindell and Marian Frances Williams who rounded out the top of the fleet, all qualifying for ICSA Women’s Singlehanded Nationals. In the men’s singlehanded concentration, congratulations to College of Charleston sailor Gerald Williams for a strong showing and win at SAISA Men’s Singlehanded, along with fellow Cougar Malcolm Benn Smith and Jacksonville University’s Jack Gower on their podium finishes and qualification to compete and represent SAISA at ICSA Men’s Singlehanded Nationals.

In doublehanded action, bravo to the University of Miami for a win in South Points #2 at home fighting off a late challenge by JU.

Also, bravo to SAISA teams who traveled out of conference this weekend past and competed including a strong showing by Jacksonville University and the University of South Florida at the All-State Sugar Bowl Regatta placing second and third respectively.
