SAISA College Sailing Information & Recruiting Night Scheduled for July 30, 2024

RALEIGH, NC (July 8, 2024): The South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SAISA) is excited to announce the SAISA College Sailing Information & Recruiting Night, set to take place on Tuesday, July 30th, at 6:30 PM via Zoom. This free, virtual event, organized in collaboration with Sail1Design and OneUnited Sailing, aims to connect aspiring college sailors with the diverse and exciting programs in College Sailing’s SAISA Conference. The SAISA Conference includes all active college sailing teams in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. The expected audience for this event is high school sailors, coaches, or parents interested in learning more about sailing in college, specifically in SAISA.

The evening will feature an overview of college sailing, as well as ICSA recruiting rules and guidelines. Attendees will hear directly from college sailing coaches and student leaders who will deliver brief, engaging comments and material showcasing their university’s sailing team, academic profile for their college, their admissions process, and provide essential information on how interested recruits can engage coaches and student leaders as they begin their admissions and application process.
